I'm the Captain of Beyond the Dream, a 20-foot shanty boat being built with a whole lot of determination, imagination, and love.
What started as a boat-building project has become something much bigger: an adventure with my son Zack, a collection of memories, and a journey we're excited to share with you.
Every item in the Captain's Locker is inspired by our love of boats, music, family, and the freedom of life on the water.

The Shanty Boat Chronicles began with a simple idea: build a boat by hand, follow the river, and share the adventure along the way.
Beyond the Dream is our homemade shanty boat, built from imagination, determination, a fair number of mistakes, and the belief that you're never too old to chase another dream.
The Captain's Locker grew out of that same adventure. Everything here is connected to our story—from the boat and the river to the music, artwork, humor, and memories we're creating along the way.
We don't sell cheap throwaway merchandise. We choose quality products we're comfortable putting our name on, price them fairly, and use the modest proceeds to help keep Beyond the Dream moving down the river.
